Lennoxvillains

Saturday January 16th 2010, Lennox Villains entered Red Rhino studios to lay down instrumental tracks for soon to be released single "Singularity". The boys are pleased thus far, in the early stages of the project, with the bands first commercial recording. In the next two weeks the band will recording and fine tuning the tracks. Stay tuned for more news!

Recorded in February 2009 @ Recording Arts Canada as a part of a Live Recording class for the students. Mixed by Neil Gilles our good friend and frontman for Montreal's Massawippi Skank! They is the first song we wrote as a band early in 2008 and Us was written almost like a response later in that year. Enjoy the tunes they are available for download at th bottom of the page. There are some new photos from the Oscar Peterson hall recording session held in November 29th posted in the photos section, Check it out. Recording from that session is going to uploaded as soon as the mixing is done. STAY TUNED!

At midnight on Sunday November 29th, Lennox Villains and fiddler Chris Maynard step into the illustrius Oscar Peterson Hall and recorded an acoustic version of the original composition "Incapable". Although extremely tired the boys pulled out a satisfactory take in just four tries. The mixing is in the process and when finished the sunday morning tracks will be released on the Lennox Villains Myspace, be sure to check it out!

Lennox Villains are a Montreal based three piece progressive rock band offering a wide variety of powerful and atmospheric original material.Late one night after a particularly raucous punk show band mates Sam Crooks and Gideon Yellin joined forces with drummer and vocalist Josh Somers to form a song writing trio, later dubbed The Lennox Villains. Following their first practice in the last days of december 2007 there has been a rip tide of song writing that continually reinvents the Villains sound.

LennoxVillains are proud to present the inaugeration of its official band website. In the coming weeks, we will be uploading some photos and music along some updates on upcoming recordings @ Oscar Peterson Concert Hall and plans the first studio recording coming up in December 2009.
